We are back again after our usual too-long-since-our-last-post, but we make up for it by bringing you a jam-packed July episode of Strictly Slambovian. Hot off the hills of the 2011 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival we let Jeanne have a much needed rest in the studio, but only until we get up and dance to the debut of the new official bootleg, which is taken from the 2010 Grand Slambovian Extraterrestrial Hillbilly Pirate Balls (London and NYC). We play a bunch of songs from it, and watch out--we have another Buffalo Girl sighting! Also we have two recent concerts, one from the 4th of July in Cold Spring, NY and the other from July 16th at the Sellersville Theater in PA (look for a "Very Unusual" brand new song in this one!). And somehow we tracked down an interview from 2009 with Joziah & Sharkey giving insight into the correlation between ghosts and hamburgers??
Oh and in case you missed it (because we rarely post, after all), be sure to check out June's show also. We ran with a random holiday theme, playing a Christmas show from the Madison [CT] Arts Barn in 2008 as well as last year's Sellersville Theater show (a great Flapjacks version here).
