Gone...But Not For Long

...and the good news is: our May episode has been brought back to life, in all of it's digital glory! This was a bit of a different show, as we celebrated the 70th birthday of a true Slambovian hero, Bob Dylan. We hope the powers that be at Rolling Stone don't mind that we read from their wonderful tribute, counting down the 70 "best" Dylan songs (Jeanne has some minor issues here). In addition, we spun some tunes from the super-cool show the band shared with Dar Williams at the Paramount Center for the Arts in Peekskill, NY on April 30th. Check this one out for sure!

Oh, What FUNd!

October's episode is now up for streaming and/or downloading at your leisure! It was a crazy show and we certainly pushed the "9:30ish" time frame trying to generate support for our semi-annual WBCR-LP Fund Drive. A big thank you to all who took the time to listen and donate, as the station couldn't survive without you! We also appreciate the 2 1/2 band members who took time out of their pre-London schedule to phone-in and donate 2 pairs of tickets to the cause :)  While covering the phone lines we also managed to cover the September 3rd Towne Crier Cafe show from Pawling, NY. And went overload with Slambovian Press: a link to the Me & Thee Coffeehouse interview is here (we read from Circus pal Chris Kocher's article, but the link has vanished not unlike some of our shows--more [good] news on that, stay posted...).
