Long Gone Lonesome Blog...

Wow, time certainly flies in the kingdom of Slambovia. Over the past several months, our attempts at recording the show (for downloading) have continued to be plagued by tech issues, causing some delays but hopefully next month will see them sorted out so we can start posting shows with more consistency!

We have however recently salvaged:

December's program was snow-shortened but saw guest host David Ripley brave the weather and fill in for James. Our hosts also ponder the question of whatever happened to HAL?

November's program in which we debuted the new album, "The Grand Slambovians" (after the band did so at their US/UK Grand Slambovian Extraterrestrial Hillbilly Pirate Balls). Also played was the band's second annual "Thanksgiving in Woodstock" show at the Bearsville Theater, and lots of talk about donkeys...

September's program featured shows from the Town Crier Cafe, Caffe Lena, and the Iron Horse Music Hall. It was a full studio that night with both Walt Flynn and fellow WBCR-LP radio host Tracey Mahon sharing their musings on the band with Jeanne Bassis. And not to be missed is our interview with Sharkey (that got hijacked by Joziah!), literally on the streets of Northampton, MA.

Enjoy the fun!

New (old) shows added

While June and July's episodes are currently lost in the digital abyss (hopefully to surface soon), we've just updated four episodes to our archive and they include lots of treats! March's show has an interview by Tink & Orien from East Hartford, CT; April sees us chatting with Sharkey about the upcoming album, "The Grand Slambovians"; Renee Harvitt comes to the rescue in May as co-host for an ill James along with a phone-in by Joziah from 3 years ago on Jeanne's other radio program. Our most recent installment features a 2008 show from Bodles Opera House -- and one from a barn! Listen away...
